Happy St. Patrick's Day

An Irish saying goes, "There are only two types of people in the world, the Irish and those who wish they were".

luckily, on St. Patrick's Day everyone can be Irish.

Much of St. Patrick's life is unknown to historian's and cannot be verified. Below are a few verified/unverified findings about St. Patrick.

Fact or legend or just too much green beer?

• Some sources have his birthname listed as Maewyn Succat.

• He changed his name to "Patricius or Patrick" after he became a priest.

• He was born in Roman Britian in the late 4th century and was kidnapped at the age of sixteen by Irish pirates, who sold him into slavery.

• He escaped six years after being kidnapped and returned home.

• Years later he returned to Ireland to convert the Irish to Christianity and of course drive out all the snakes.

• He used the shamrock to teach about the Trinity.

• Blue was the traditional color of St. Patrick's Day until the Irish rebellion in 1798 when the clover became the symbol of nationalism and the "wearing of green" became tradition.

We are also Irish and we are also "Green".

"Green" represents anything that benefits the environment or minimizes the impact or carbon footprint on our planet.

As much as green represents St. Patrick's Day, it also represents an important aspect of our business.

Wearing green protects you from Leprechaun's, but that's not the reason why we are green.

Everybody looks good in green, but that's not the reason why we are green either.

Eco-friendly products are considered green and that is the reason why we are green!

Being "green" or eco-friendly means that we do not use harsh chemicals that will harm the environment or your landscaping when we blast.

By using recycled bottle glass and other eco-friendly media, we use fewer resources and minimize our carbon footprint on the planet.
